Now a days the government of Andhra Pradesh is more focusing on the health care of the poor people, and has launched Arogya Sree, which provides health care to the poor people in corporate hospitals of Andhra Pradesh with a link up with health insurance companies.

The government of Andhra Pradesh has earmarked nearly 200 acres for health city near Hyderabad , where in the government of Andhra Pradesh will allot land to the health care industries like hospitals and institutes engaged in R&D of health care products.

Hyderabd, Vizag and Nellore are the places in Andhra Pradesh where many companies are engaged in R&D and manufacture of health care products.

Andhra Pradesh has got separate medical university named as NTR Health University which looks after all the medical colleges in Andhra Pradesh.

So, evaluating all these, we can say that Andhra Pradesh is developing rapidly in health department.
