JNTU School of Management Studies established during 2002-2003 is offering MBA program and some special programs in Management studies and students are sponsored by Private Companies, Armed Forces and State Board of Technical Education, A.P.

JNTU to introduce grades system for B.Tech , M.Tech and MBA students beginning from first year students of 2009-10. Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University (JNTU) is planning to introduce Credit based grading system for engineering and MBA students.

B Tech students to get a degree need to get a total of 160 credits in 8 semesters, and for M.Tech the credits needed are 80 and for MBA 60 credits are needed. Every semester will have a GPA (Grade Point Average) on a ten point scale. The average of all GPAs will be calculated at the end of the course and Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) will be arrived. A grade will be awarded to those obtaining 80 percent and B grade for 70 percent and c grade for above 60 percent for B Tech studentsThose Students failed to get 160 credits will be failed and will get an F Grade.
